ABC News visited SW Art Studio to interview America250 National Winner Iris, along with SW Art Studio founder Suming Wu (Elaine), capturing the story behind Iris’s creative journey and growth as a young artist.
As one of only three national winners of the America250 Bookmark Design Challenge, Iris’s achievement makes SW Art Studio the only art studio in California represented among this year’s national winners.
From the very first sketch to having her artwork recognized nationally and featured by the media, this journey of creativity, dedication, and growth is truly worth celebrating.
This Independence Day, Iris will also be invited to Washington, D.C. to attend an America250 event hosted by the Second Lady, joining other young artists from across the country to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
