Suming Wu (Elaine)
Founder / Lead Art Instructor
Ms. Elaine Graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Art Practice, Elaine has over 15 years of art training and a strong foundation in both Eastern and Western art education. She founded SW Art Studio to create a space where every child receives personalized guidance and grows with confidence.
From teaching her first students at home to now leading three campuses—in Fremont, Belmont, and Mountain View—Elaine continues to teach personally and knows each student’s strengths and progress. Her students have received national and international awards, but what she values most is their creativity, curiosity, and love for art.


Tiffany
Art Instructor/ Competition Guidance
Graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Digital Media Art. With a strong background in both art and design, Tiffany has years of experience guiding students through portfolio building and competition preparation. Her classes are structured yet creative, and she is patient, observant, and encouraging. Tiffany excels at helping children build a solid foundation while discovering their own artistic voice.
Al
Digital Art Instructor
Graduated from École de Condé in France with a Master’s in Animation, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Game Art and Design from Columbia College in the U.S. He has years of experience in digital storytelling, character design, and illustration. At SW Art Studio, Mr. Al guides advanced students in developing personal projects and refining their visual storytelling. He helps students turn their interests into deeper artistic thinking and powerful creative expression.


Betty
Art Instructor
Betty graduated with a B.F.A. in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York and an M.F.A. in Scenic Design from the University of California, Irvine. With professional experience in illustration, set design, and visual storytelling, she helps students at SW Art Studio turn their ideas into expressive and imaginative artwork while building strong creative foundations.
Ni
Art Instructor
Ni holds a B.F.A. and M.A. in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. She has years of teaching experience and is skilled in both traditional and digital media. Her work has been internationally exhibited and recognized by publications like Observica Magazine. At SW Art Studio, she guides students in building strong fundamentals while encouraging creative expression.


Zhiyun
Art Instructor
Zhiyun holds a B.A. in Animation and Illustration from San José State University and has experience teaching children in a variety of classroom settings. With a background in visual development, storytelling, and digital art, she helps students bring their ideas to life through both traditional and digital media. Her engaging and encouraging teaching style inspires students to explore their creativity while building strong artistic foundations.
Jiayang
Art Instructor
Jiayang studied at the University of California, Berkeley and received years of rigorous fine arts training in China, building a strong foundation in sketching, drawing, and visual arts. With a keen eye for observation and structure, he helps students develop strong artistic fundamentals while encouraging creativity and independent thinking. His patient and detail-oriented teaching style supports students in growing both their technical skills and artistic confidence.


Lily
Art Instructor
Lily holds a Master’s degree in Art Design from De Montfort University in the UK. With over 10 years of teaching experience in both China and the U.S., she specializes in watercolor, acrylic, oil painting, sketching, and traditional Chinese painting. Her teaching is patient and structured, helping students build strong fundamentals while growing their creativity with confidence.
